Obituary for Richard Branstein

Funeral Services for Richard D. Branstein, age 76, will be 11:00 AM, Friday February 23, 2018, at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake where family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
Richard was born on October 18, 1941 in Cleveland to the late Charles “Pat” and Doris (nee Copfer) Branstein and passed away on February 19, 2018.
Rich served in the US Army Reserve and retired from Ryder Trucking Company after many years of service.
Rich is the beloved husband of 52 years to Jean M. (nee Soucek) Branstein; loving father of Holly (Patrick) Sandrey and Sherry (Al) Chimileski; devoted papa of Julie Chimileski; brother of Norman (Leah) Branstein (both deceased); cherished uncle and friend to many.
Rich will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his willingness to go out of his way to help any person or animal in need. He will be sadly missed by his best friends Sadie and Otis.
